We left "home" about 9:30 with the threat of rain hanging over us. By the time we exited the tube and boarded our train for Kew Gardens it was sprinkling. We then arrived at the Richmond Station to find our connecting train was not running due to "engineering work." So we had to take a replacement bus to our destination. It was pouring by as we arrived at the Historic Gardens. We agreed to spend 2 hours and see what we could see without getting too wet and broke into smaller groups.
