The work day begins at 9am (as usual) and the students present their group concepts to everyone. Each team is not competing with each other, rather the course is structured like a design studio with each group working to get the most out of each other. In the "real world" the goal would be to win the account for our agency. Concepts were presented, critical feedback was given, revisions were worked on and presentations happened again after lunch.
Side Note: the food pictures are provided because there is a myth that the food in GB is not very good and who would want to eat here. I'm here telling you that the food can be delicious one just has to look. In the states you can eat at McDonalds or you can eat at In-N-Out. Today lunch was at Chopped. A salad bar place that featured fresh veg from local farms, with your choice of protein, and dressing for under 5 pounds. So good.
